We've barely had a summer and already we are starting to think about and see our fall wardrobes appear in what we buy and magazines! I've only just got my summer clothes down from storage, and already it seems that after this heatwave, thought to last a few short weeks I will be returning my linens, and light weight dresses back to their slumber, to await next summer. How depressing is that?!
However there is one saving grace that makes thinking about fall a whole lot easier and exciting... Chanel.

Think 'Rob Roy', think back to the time when girls were taught how to sew embroidery, expected to do so and not much else. Think heritage, shooting parties, of a style/print you associate with half naked men! Think diamond printed socks, wooly jumpers, scarfs that wrap around your neck more than twice and still have more to go. Think tights, and socks, and leg warmers, and boots. Big brooches, itchy layers and big collars on everything, just in case you need that extra material when your cold or want to add excitement to a mundane white shirt.

I've only just got excited about summer but this one style/print is enough to make me want to cry out for winter, cold snowed in days, walking the dogs in the countryside and coming home to a log burning fire.
